  • The AudioControl TXJD8 Dual 8" Under Seat Vented Subwoofer Enclosure has been specifically designed for 2020-up Jeep Gladiator (JT) vehicles. The custom subwoofer box mounts neatly under the rear seat using the supplied brackets and hardware, while still allowing access to your jack and top parts. No modifications to your vehicle will be required for installation.

    Note: If your Jeep Gladiator JT is equipped with a factory subwoofer, it doesn't need to be removed, but should be unplugged to avoid phase issues with the new subwoofers.

  • The custom AudioControl TXJD8 vented enclosure is constructed of heavy-duty fiberglass with internal bracing, providing excellent sound dampening properties and reduced resonance. The rugged enclosure features a heat-bonded EPM (Elastomeric Polyurethane Molecule) layer and Roadkill-Armor coating for added durability, UV protection, and weather-resistance. The TXJD8 enclosure is also resistant to chemicals, stains, scratches, and cracking.

  • The AudioControl TXJD8 is loaded with two Spike Series 8" SPK-8S4 subwoofers. The high-excursion drivers feature a fiber matrix paper cone, with mica coating, and a dual dust cap system for enclosure compression control. The heavy-duty motor system features a 2" diameter voice coil with a 3-layer, high-temperature former for maximum efficiency. The two SPK-8S4 subwoofers are protected by removable metal-mesh grilles.

  • The two 4-ohm subwoofers are internally parallel-wired for a 2-ohm load at the single set of input terminals. The enclosure can handle 400-700W RMS (700W recommended); 1000W peak power.

  • The TXJD8 features two connection methods:

    • Spring Posts: A pair of spring posts can accept speaker wire up to 10-gauge in size.

    • Quick-Plug Harness: A removable 7" 2-pin harness (XT-90), with bare-ended 12-gauge wires, provides a quick-connection method that can easily be plugged and unplugged from the enclosure.
